It wasn’t just Cougar Creek, a few kilometers East at Exshaw it looked like it was touch and go at a RR bridge over a puny creek. The debris was right up to the underside of the girders with huge mounds on the downside of the track that had been moved out and piled in order to keep the flow going. This was about eight weeks after the deluge.
