Large Scale Central

covered bridge

As I am upscaling to 7/8ths scale, I am selling/swapping this bridge. Works great for LGB and 1:20.3 stuff but the opening isnt large enough for larger engines. Asking $45 or would swap with someone who can build me a rustic looking replacement(not a covered bridge) that looks like it might be seen on a sugar cane railway. Picture is of it on my railway, I removed it from the railway today. Thanks Mike

Mike, what kind of bridge do you have in mind? Through truss? Pony truss? Camel back?

Im not real picky, and unsure what might be typical on a 2 foot industrial line hauling coal or sugar cane. Something along the lines of these I think would look good. Mike

Mike, ah, ok. Do you know what size you need? Length to span the gorge, and width of the bridge you need?

Length of span is 24.5 inches. The width of the cab on my Fairymead is 5.5 inches. So I would think the bridge should be around 7 inches wide to give some running clearances since both the exit and entrance to the bridge are on curves. Mike

Pending? Does that mean there is a solution about to unfold?

Ok Mike.
