AH there it is and what a VIEW! Nice!
Anyone contemplating the purchase of that house, should be concerned, that the roof is in need of replacement, and a good scraping and refinishing of the outside walls.
It would be wise to consider having the walls replaced with a more maintenance free siding, so that more time could be enjoyed “Train watching” than doing maintenance on the house.
I wonder how much land is included, and whether it would be suitable for a good sized outdoor railroad.

The listing did say it had a garden, but I don’t think it said how big the garden is.
That’s the main highway past the tracks.
A quiet spot it’s not.

The garden is on the lower side. There are pics of it and yes Fred a small railroad would readily fit(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
Here’s the real estate listing that includes a map - Glengarry, Marine Place, Mallaig, PH41 4RB
The description of the near by - A830 road
I wonder how the vibrations are inside the house, when a train passes?
Okay, but how do you know whether it really is a cottage with a view or a view with a cottage?
Hmm …
“The property has off-road parking with a spacious garden.
The property also comes with planning permission for an extension.”
