Large Scale Central

Conrail #9 by my eye's

No fancy tooling just a model from scratch as I see it…using mass production pieces when needed.

Yikes that thing is looooooooooooooooooooooooong!

That’s going to be cool
BTW-email me your address. I have it here somewhere, but it would be easier if I don’t have to look for it
Ralph

That prototype picture had me confused at first. I thought the end was a huge radiator, not a window with blinds drawn

Edit: Prototype & modelling info here http://www.dcctrain.com/images/conrail9.pdf

I’m waiting on # 10…

That has to be one of the ugliest (and therefore coolest!) passenger cars I have ever seen. Which can only mean…I want one!

Sweet build!

Nice work Rooster.

You should see it with the garage door down Jon.

Well, if it ever gets rear-ended, someone has a front row seat…

Ken, that could be possible on Rooster’s layout when he gets ‘excited’ and looses all his train of thought.

UP has one like that with the big rear window.

And it probably comes in handy when they have to back up…

For lots of cool cars, check out the OCS pages at thecrhs.org, the ConRail Historical Society’s website.

Definitely would be a lot more fun during shoving moves
