Large Scale Central

Congrats to Al Pomeroy

Hi Al,

A belated but big congratulations on your 1st Place Maintenance of Way entry of your RGS flanger 01 at the 44th Narrow Gauge Convention last summer. This in the Nov-Dec Gazette.

Your flanger is jaw-dropping. And that’s coming from someone who sweated the details of the V&T’s similar car, though yours is a few levels above mine.

And now, more congrats on your build article in this next (Jan-Feb) Gazette for the flanger and your beautiful stock car. Bummer that they misspelled your name on P58 (:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:) , but heck no one looks at spelling when they’re viewing masterpieces.

My hat’s off to you, Sir!

Yea, I finally opened the latest issue last night and saw the article. Great stuff!

Thank you Cliff! not clear if my article on building #315 will be in next issue or not. it was a stretch to get both articles in one issue. somewhere along the line my original submissions got lost.

Congrats Al. 315 is a beauty too!

Wow,
I think Al even signed my ass!!!
Way to go Al!!

OK, everyone wants to see the pic of Al on your ass…
Pony up Rooster…

l just read your article and enjoyed it very much. Congratulations on such success in a tough field of competitors.

If Rooster replies, the thread will have to be moved to the $ For Sale/Trade/Wanted section.

Yeah, I shouldn’t have said that on Al’s thread, he’s maybe the most masterful modeler still living.

but you bet, I hope Rooster replies.

I think it’s on the other side but I will need to inspect my ass closer when I have time. For now Bill will have to be happy with your signature on my ass Cliff.

Rooster reported for fraudulent ass signing.

Heck, this gives me the opportunity to say once again,

Big Congratulations to Al!!

Somehow I thought Rooster’s donkey must be a large scale figure. And congrats to Al. I think a flanger has to be a really fiddley MOW car to model.

P.S. A squirrel chewed on my ass (pack donkey model), and the poor critter probably got lead poisoning!
