I am building a colorado structures kit. What color “krylon” is good for bricks? I tried a rust color but not happy with it.

I used Krylon Red Oxide primer on my firehouse build. It can be scuffed for a dull finish or clear coated for a shiny finish
Want to do bricks the easy way? I did an article for Garden Railways Magazine a while back on my technique.
I use a diluted white/gray water-based craft paint (e.g., Patio Paint, Apple Barrel Paint, etc.) to fill in the mortar lines and let it dry. Then I use a block of wood with a piece of adhesive backed cork stuck on it as a “stamp pad” to stamp the brick-red color onto the bricks not pressing so hard as to fill the mortar lines. You can touch up the mortar with a small brush as necesary.
