Today I got the ties attached to the template for the colliery yard. Here’s the template, with some rail laid down to get an idea of curvature.
Basically, the colliery will be on the RIGHT side of this ladder, and the turnout to the left will be for local freight. The main line will come in AWAY from the picture. The whole template is about 7 feet by 5 feet.
