Large Scale Central

CN train wreck...Tuesday morning.

A large CN freight train wreck, in Saskatchewan. Lots of smoke and flames…no-one hurt

Can you post a link for pics and details if you have it?

Thanks

Bill

That’s not a surprise, even the main Transcon is a bit of a rock 'n roll affair, add lots of grade crossings.

tac , if I could spell it , I would say you are incorrigible . But obviously , as I can’t , I shall comment on the crash at hand .

Bloody hell , what a mess . Steel twisted up like that is frightening . Unless it’s part of a girder bridge .

tac,

Not much corn in that region, but plenty of grain from last year that didn’t make it to port so far and now never will.

Sunday it looked like CN was hauling a lot more grain to the West Coast than CP,

Some Chopper footage of the derailment http://globalnews.ca/video/1603613/aerials-of-wadena-sk-cn-train-derailment

The camera man really needs a Steadycam.

First preliminary investigation results
