I really enjoyed this.
The photo of Meeting st. in Charleston,SC. from 1865 is really cool. Other than the road being paved, it doesn’t look much different today.

Cool. Does anyone know if that photo of Hanover Junction PA is broad gauge? Could be that it just looks wide because the box car is short.

My research so far has all (?) of the RR in the South Central Penna. as standard gauge track. The cars were 24 - 32 ft. x 7ft. IIRC.
