I would put the fuel station on the engine house ready track but keep the water on the siding…a steamer would need to refill with water much more often than fuel…on a 1:3 ratio or something like that with a lot of factors to factor in…
What I would do, would be to buy a larger left hand switch, and install it as part of the curve, in the lower right hand corner of picture 1… The curve part of the switch being the mainline, and the straight part being the lead into the siding, with another swtich breaking off into the engine house track…
Doing this would alleviate the “S” curve going into the siding and engine house track… Also, make the mainline, siding track and engine house lead a little longer…
The whole area at the engine house seems very congested to me…
It is a neat little area… Just seems ““cramped””…
Are you going to add a plow with HEP cabling and ditch lights?
