Chuckawalla Slim

The truck looks good Doug. I take it you’re painting as you go ?

Nice figure Boomer, but I think the story is just a bunch of who-haw.

The natives are restless. My note went to outer space!
Boomer, that is one good lookin’ rockologist! I wonder how much he knows about Model Ts? Rooster hasn’t helped much. He’s been “busy.”
Dave, the truck got a pre-assembly paint job with a little help from Mother Nature! I put the final coat of paint on it and sat the box outside for the paint to dry. I walked indoors and the Dirty and Dusty got hit by a dust devil! The box didn’t blow away but the truck got “weathered!” Fits right in with the theme!

Chuckawalla Slim may soon have a truck!(http://freightsheds.largescalecentral.com/users/doug_arnold/_forumfiles/Ford5.jpg)

He might need a vise grip to stear that thing!

The steering wheel comes soon! Or the vise grips!

Chuckawalla Slim arrived in Silver Onyx today and will advise me on what he’d like to see in his new truck.

Looks real good there Doug!

I have to get an order in for some styrene so I can start customizing it.

Chuckawalla Slim inspects the progress on his Model T. My styrene shipment should be at the post office. We’ll venture out tomorrow and take a look.

What more can you say…I love it!

I didn’t think Doug owned a pic axe

Looking good with nature wreathing. Like the guys glasses. Looks like they went thru a sand storm… lol.
Don’t see or not sure the Eng. crank below the radiator is there. Great photo…

Noel,

Don’t you see the resemblance to Doug?

OOPS… sorry Joe Z. I didn’t recognize him with the sand blasted glass on… lol.

Chuckawalla Slim may soon be hitting the road! He does need to be able to crank that truck!

It’s been a long-time coming but I got back to work today on Chuckawalla Slim’s truck.

I have about 20 hours that I will be able to work on it this coming week.

Doug,

Great. Go for it. I like your stuff. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
