I spent a little time building some track bed out of redwood lathe and pressure treated 2x4.
Mostly I wanted to put something in my available space and get an idea of what I can ger away with. Looks like I can squeeze in 12’ diameter plus a little.
My “plan” is to start with two long straight sections with a balloon on each end. Then eventually expand to include sidings inside each balloon and coming off the outside as well, possibly going down the adjacent wall into yet another balloon or staging area.
But first the loop would be nice to start with a trestle or two.
