Christmas lights

Ok. My 2008 display is up and running. 50,000 + lights this year over three houses. That should teach the neighbors to leave why I’m on vacation.
I will try and get some video this weekend and post it on my website.

till then you can check out the video from last years show. www.gtechdesign.com

Seems we both posted on the same topic
But you have me beat. I’m just getting started and my efforts will fall far shy of yours.
We add a little more every year. But at the pace I’m adding lights, I don’t think I’ll live long enough to reach 50,000
Ralph

I wouldn’t want your electric bill, but I always enjoy seeing these spectaculars

Deck the Halls was on cable the other night. I’m sure someone has done it, but I’ve yet to see a rooftop turned into a Jumbo-Tron with live video and animation.

Geoff,

Do you know what your carbon footprint is? Do you care?

With the lefties owning gummint, now, will this be the last year for your display?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Keep up the good work.

I offset my carbon foot print by collecting food for the needy.

Do you care?
NO.

NO, NO and NO again. They will have to pry the lights from my cold hands.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Keep up the good work.

does the wife still talk to you?

Ken,

I think that is a perfect example of “Festivus” lights.

Nice lights, Ken…

Dunno, haven't asked her anything..................;)

Ken - That’s Awesome      I love it. Just wish I had a plug outside, I’d copy you. In my case it’s much more effort - have to unscrew a bulb and put in an adapter. Haven’t had the ambition to do that in a few years.

Geoff - Keep up the good work. I always enjoy seeing displays like yours but frankly don’t know where you get the motivation to put that much work into it. I’m sure many are grateful that you do.

Once had a set of mini lights where the bulbs would fall out at the slightest motion. Susan wondered what I’d do with them. We had a porch light with frosted glass. They were real pretty in there.

The motivation is easy.

Lets see I can clean house or put up a few lights out side. Hummmmm…
I think I will do the lights.

Yes I’m milking my 15 minutes of fame for all its worth. May never happen to me again.

I finally got around to putting up my Christmas lights. If you need help with yours, just give me a call.

EDIT: Ignore me

Geee Bob and Ken must store their lights in the same place…

HAH! Ken’s images wasnt showing up when I posted mine… go figure
