Having three Christmas loco’s and a Christmas Trolley, it was time to repaint the latest arrival, an Aristo 0-4-0. Here is the loco running Christmas.
And here it is with the new paint, minus a few parts that were still wet. I will repaint the red more of a “wine” to match the loco behind it. Ralph

It really does look good. The picture didn’t do it justice.
I applied the black with a brush using an oil based enamel. Ended up with a beautiful, deep black mirrored finish.
Looks better than any black I’ve ever sprayed.

All white and green areas were painted black. The brushed black finish did not turn out as beautiful as it did on the Aristo. The moon was in a special phase or the planets were in line or something when I painted the 0-4-0. But the Annie looks good. I think the new color scheme looks much more dignified, but still colorful. Ralph
