Bob, I don’t think that TAC will be able to see this. He was not able to see your original post. He says that he lives out in the sticks where they deliver broadband by Pony Express.

May I suggest this… Bring up the video in utube, then click on “Share” You will find that just below the screen. Wait for the url to come up in the box below, then highlight the url and copy it, then post it here, using [ youtube ] url [ /youtube ] Just be sure to leave out the spaces to get it to work. I had to put them in so you could see the code. I’m not sure why LSC’s software demands this, but it does.

Go to one of my posts where I have embedded your videos and click on “quote” to see just how its done.

Thanks, Steve, but I got it by clicking on the linky above. First time I logged on to Bo’s own site, to be told that it was not available in my region/not able to decode the imbedded programme.

I put some more sticks on the fire under the broad-band boiler and managed to get enough power to drag the bandwidth to a useable level, I guess, but Bob’s own imbedded videos are not working. No big deal though, since I CAN now see them on YT.

BTW, it’s the same with Phoenix Sounds Systems - I can’t get the sounds, but get everything else…

As you say, there’s boonies, and there’s yUK boonies…my BIL, who lives in North Wales, gets 15-20 Mbps. I live - if that’s the word to use - only five miles from a pretty big town, but we have yet to get fibre-optic, nor expect to within the next four/five years.

Best to all there

I have heard that Jason Kovac of “The Train Department” is considering marketing Larry Bangham design whistles. Anybody know about this? I would love to have a source here in the USA.

Chuck,

Why don’t you ask him. He usually replies to emails or messages from this site.

Yes I have been working on getting the parts made for me. I have been given the rights to produce the parts per Larry Bangham and his design drawings. These will be a parts kit for you to make your own not a ready to install whistle. All the hard part of machining is done and would require a little fabrication of tanks and the installation then tuning on air and steam.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for your response. That is exactly what I am looking for. I will want several kits. Any idea when you might have these?
