I got this GP38 from a guy who said he bought it in LA back in the 80’s. Box has a sticker that says Chicago Train Works, Naperville, IL. I wonder if Ralph Brown of the Great Trains and American Standard did it as a prototype? Never saw it before. Has NWSL blocks(initials not molded in). Seems brand new and fits in well with my 1/32 cars. Well, will try adding photos again.

Jerry, look at the fan arrangement at the back of the hood, it’s a GP-35, not a GP-38
It seems to me, too, that the rear fan arrangement with small fan between the 2 larger fans identifies the loco in the picture as a GP35, not a GP38. I think the GP 38 has just the 2 larger fans.
