Will be in Chi soon, any good hobby shops? I’m looking for one that has lots of scratch building supplies,
K&S brass/copper, Evergreen and Plastrut plastics. Not really looking for trains to buy, like to make my own.
If you recommend one or two, please give the address. I’ll be out in Maywood.

Jan was at a meeting up there one weekend and I took a Model Railroader and hit every one that advertised in the back. It was a busy but productive day. Not a clue of the name of any of them. But found a lot with good supplies. St. Albons(sp?) was not big on the list.

Was not interested in trains, just supplies to make them. 
Yeah, I understand. I was doing the same thing. Found a lot of tidbits that day, some are used all the time and yet, I really don’t know where I got them. 
Just somewhere in the Chicago area.
You don’t find much material at aubins, just trains.
There’s one in Mundeline I sometimes hit, right on Hwy 45.
