I’m rather disappointed he didn’t win the Darwin Awards.

The outcome was best for the train crew, though.

Just goes to show ‘You can’t fix STUPID’!!!

…and they breed and vote.

Unbelieveable…

Lets see what would a rather do, get hit by a train or run through a crossing gate. Tough decision there.

Nothing happens when I click on the photo?

I’m having the same problem. Can a link be posted?

This is the link in Steve’s post behind the photo…

Worked this morning for me. Might be you are using Internet Exploder which doesn’t like embedded links.

That’s what I use. Thanks, Jon.

Now that I see it, all I can say is another escaped his fate. That is bad for the rest of us.

Running around crossing gates is foolish in any situation, but to beat a two or three car train? What’s the point? Nearly loosing your life is worth the 15-20 seconds saved.

Was supposed to be a question beginning with Is. I used to blame Mad Cow, but I read last night that the cell tower on the roof at work is probably causing early onset dementia.

Jon, the fingers out paced the brain, that’s all. Happens to me a lot these days. I was wincing about the imminent loss of a good Prius, not to mention any passengers in the car, the train crew, and possibly the train passengers. What a pinhead. A Prius does not leap forth when you squash the accelerator after coming to a stop because the gasoline engine shuts off. I own and drive an '05 Prius every day. When you squash the pedal after a temporary stop, the engine springs back to life but only after a half second or more and then joins the electric motor in powering the wheels thru the CVT. Bottom line, one should never take close chances in a Prius anywhere much less at a RR xing. What a pinhead. Did I say that already?

Man… I’m never surprised at how dumb humans are. There’s no way we’ll survive to infect other planets… Which is probably a good thing.

Jon.
