"calls to me like a kid locked in the basement."Gee, that doesn’t sound good. So you know what a kid locked in the basement sounds like do ya?
Well heck yeah I was that kid… Now that you read that back to me it probably is not as funny as it sounded in my head. So I apologize if that was inappropriate. I admit to having a slight warped sense of humor. Again I am sorry at a poor attempt at light hearted humor.
Devon, my father didn’t have a basement in his house, but I know what you mean. My sense of humor is off beat too, that why I knew what you were saying, even though it didn’t read that way.
You have no idea how many projects call to me when I am home.

Fortunately, I have my trusty secret decoder ring, the expensive one that cost two boxtops and two quarters. ![]()
Steve, good for you. I had one once, and when I decoded the secret message, it told me to drink my Oval-teen. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

Much better. Was there a faulty link between the seat and the keyboard? (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

devon,
throw an eye onto ebay.
in O-gauge (32mm) ther are sometimes trains that were made for playmobils. (that would be 1:22.3)
look for “eco train”, or Faller either “hit train” or “e-train”. (all the same, but hit-train is battery operated)
they are toys, so that you would have to scratch a cabin.
sorry for the bad quality pics.
the figures are, left to right: 1:24, 1:25, 1:29 (on the loco) and 1:32
Korm thanks for the tip. A toy train is just fine for this project. I am simply after a motor block. This will be a 100% ground up project. Small little 1:20.3 2 footer
Bump
any update on this project Devon?
Yeah Aaron the update would be I have changed direction a little. The idea is there still but the board of directors elected to broaden the gauge 3’ (45mm). While I am still very interested in doing a 1:20.3 2 foot gauge on 32mm for now I have decided I have too many irons in too many fires. So this one is back burner. I will be building the micro in 45mm.
Edited before Joe catches the fact tha I used “to” and “two” where I should have used “too”
