Great Guy !!!

He will be missed…

He will definitely be missed both by his personality and his leading

position in the model railroading industry…

Condolences to his family and friends…

Thanks for the post BD. He will be missed

Sad news. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cry.gif)

Damn.

Charlie Ro is one of the big reasons G-scale is still alive. I love his products and have collected quite a bit of them over the years. I hope his son and the family carry on the Ro tradition of selling great quality trains into the future.

Wow more sad news Later RJD

I had the pleasure of knowing the RO family for many years. In 1985 I met Charlie Sr. in his Salon Shop and traded in my HO brass for the first of many LGB locos. It was exciting to watch his business grow and move into that large building to create USA Trains and have one of the finest Train Stores in the country. Charlie made our hobby a lot more fun.

Don

So sorry to hear that news. He certainly was a most innovative part of this hobby producing great products for us.

Condolences and prayers for the family… RIP Charlie… RIP…

I am SO thankful to have made your acquaintance sir! “I Will Truly Miss Seeing You” at the shows!! The conversations we had over the past 10 + yrs were awesome as you made me think and then think again especially when it came to my modeling (you taught me well along with others).

“You wanted to talk cars and I wanted to talk trains!” You wanted to talk the Regan years and the economy but I told you I was 12yrs old when he was shot. I suppose age separation along with TWO different professions/trades with TWO different HOBBIES but the same attitude and outlook. You were an icon/legend but didn’t care and pretty sure the boy and hopefully along with Mike and the rest of the crew will carry it on!!

My condolences to the family and God Speed my friend!

I’m sorry you didn’t get to see the finished product …however you did see the coaches just not the baggage car we talked about. Was hoping to see you in Maryland this year but it did not pan out.

Damnation !
