Looks great, I see a few new structures have arrived as well.
I would think all that track on the left should be connected to something…
Great pictures, thanks for sharing. Should make for good operating sessions, if they heed Bob’s words and connect the track.
Don’t they need a trestle to get to the stacked track???
With guardrails!

As soon as we get more pictures, I’ll have them posted…there has been further progress…All is well.
Thank you Ken for posting.
Some of the switches now have choke cable controls....I installed 5 of them on Saturday.
Thats looking great. That one shot is cool with all the track. Thanks for sharing
Looking forward to seeing these improvements.
Here are four pictures of the Nelson Yard project on the IPP&W. Gord took them this afternoon. There are only two switches left to install on the arrival/departure tracks, that will allow for the engine escape, and service for the freight house shown at the West end of the yard. You might note that a few switches have choke cable controls, where the switches are not within easy reach. The rest have our barrel bolt ground throws. There may be two more choke cables installed at the West end later. CP-RP&M S3 coming off the Ferry

Yard looks good…
Yea, looks like a good place to work!
When will it be done?
You have to come up and help, David.
That’s going to be one busy place! Nice work.
It always has been a busy place. Hopefully this upgrade will make exchanges at Nelson Yard go a bit smoother and quicker. This is the second major upgrade in this area of the IPP&W. A few years ago the connection to the main was upgraded to make entering the yard easier. I don’t recall the details but I’m sure its posted here somewhere.
