I’m thinking you have the Weld On product …what # Weld On did you use that didn’t work and are you sure it was acrylic and not polycarbonate?

The E6000 contact is good stuff and actually I personally prefer the different contact adhesives for either material if I can use them on whatever I’m doing.

Yep, Weld On 16. Though now in a blue tube. Supposed to be good for butyrate, polycarbonate, styrene and other plastics. The screws worked.

That’s really odd? I like the Weld on products …either way the building looks great !

And scare all the customers away?

Steve. that’s my job… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Pretty cool. Looking at name I suspect it is after a person’s name. There was also a job ship chandler who made and/or sold supplies, parts, for ships and boats. Maybe these folks make specialized furniture for boats?
In background that two tone green building with red roof is interesting.

Yep. I don’t have anything named after me on my layout, but figured it was OK on another railroad.

The green building is Salmon’s Produce:

More on that is on my web site, or in the modeling forum here.

Chandler’s Furniture is in fact, named for the ““Chandler’s””… Jane and I have named industries after friends that have operated on the railroad… There are a few named like that, and more to come…

Bruce asked me last fall, if He could have some of the ““plexiglass”” so he could build a building for the railroad and I figured, what better a building to build than his own building… It will replace the current building that is located there, and the old building will be used on the railroad elsewhere…

Not Andy. Too happy.

Looks like Andy is spoiled. Looks great Bruce.

Neato! Andy now owes you one. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)

Another great build,

Always looking forward to seeing your builds

Dennis

Chandlers Furniture has been re-located to it’s new home in the Industrial Park…

With the new placement of Chandlers Furniture, the roadway has been re-aligned to follow close to the tracks, and Dot’s Imports (Container Yard) has been expanded due to an increase in business…

Many thanks, Bruce… Love the building…

Andy looks great there !

Did Bruce give you a scale version of his daily driver to park out front?

Too cool. Can’t wait to see it in person!

Glad you like it.

What’s not to like… It’s a beautiful building…

I am going to change out the outbound boxcars to 40 footers, instead of 50 footers… 40 footers make a better fit for the loading dock…
