This video is significant since it was the last time that k27 463 and k37 497 ran on the Cumbres and Toltec before their flue time ran out. Neither is running today , though 463 may be getting close. A great chance to hear both , and enjoy doubleheader sounds. I was on that trip, as can be seen it was cold and snowing on Cumbres- this was near the end of October in the high country.

Seemed like a very long train in the last shots coming into Chama, for a single engine.
At the time , it was the longest freight ever on the CATS. All down hill though, so a single k37 could handle it, biggest concern was enough braking.
