Chama photo

Anyone have a close-up front view of the Chama Sandhouse that you would be willing to share on here. I am building one and need a good close-up shot of the front…Thanks, Travis

I’ll dig thru my pics and see what I can find. I’m working now so it will be later.

Edit for adding pics.

Chama Sandhouse View: SW corner looking NW. This is the sand holding area, made from poles and ties.

Thanks Steve!!,

Dave do you know what the back wall looks like?. Any doors windows?

See the PBL photo series, above.

I went looking for the back side of the sand house and I at first couldn’t find any, and wondered why I had missed the back side? Looked deeper, and lo N behold, there isn’t a backside per se.

Well at least not that you can see. The unloading track for the sand dump, is an extension of what was the dump track for the adjacent coaling bottom dump bin. I don’t recall what was used to sure up the back wall or what kind of retaining wall was even used.

I’ll be over there again in a few weeks with 315 and I’ll take a look see and some pics.
