Large Scale Central

Challenge 2

Needs a little weathering, Ralph. …

I’m thinkin’ Mik could do a bash on that to make it look pretty damn cool.
Randy

Ralphg I was thinking since i am almost done with mine I could build a second MOW car. A rooster chasing car. What do you think? Then I can label it KFC
You think that would fit into the MOW car. Every line needs something to get rid of that dam rooster.

Is it “Suitable for G-Scale?” :stuck_out_tongue:

Why Steve…It’s Lehmann, those fine folks who originated the garden railroad. They’ve used some selective compression to enhance function on tight radius curves  Ralph

Very cool that some of you are posting your build logs already. As you go, or all at once before April 1st. Either way is fine with me.
Ralph

You just Gneed an HO drive and some wheelsets to make it a Gn15 mining or amusement park Gnomy…

With my passenger car build pretty well finished and some successful negotiations with SWMBO regarding the honey-do list and having found something that I can finish in time, count me in.
Ron

Excellent, Ron. We’ll add you to the list.
The ever increasing prize booty now includes one MLS 2010 Large Scale Calendar as well as the Gnomy Train.
Ralph

I figure I’ll start posting a few pictures of the bash. But what am I going to do with it? Now I just have to figure out how to post the pictures!

hello all!
i’m newly registerd to this siding of the track. (been lurking for some years…)
maybe one or two here remember me from the other forums, we all frequent.
i registerd, because yesterday i saw a pic of a mobile(modern) railroad-outhouse somewhere - and today i read this challenge here.
since then i got an image of an old-style wildwest outhouse car before my inner eye.
i’ll build it anyhow. and if the idea fits in, you can sign me up for this challenge.

Welcome aboard Korm. Hows the railroad?

That should fit in as long as you don’t charge for useage

Good to have you onboard here. I always enjoyed your posts on the other forums.

Hi Korm, Glad to see you joined us here at LSC. And even happier to see you've joined the challenge. If Jerry and Noel do the Live show tomorrow, I'll talk to you then. Ralph

There are other large scale train forums? Korm's in! Welcome! ;)

Ralph,

Are we supposed to just use stuff that has been hanging out in our junk box, or can we go to the store for stuff? I can’t remember.

I think I’m confused… Wait, maybe I’m not. :stuck_out_tongue:
