Large Scale Central

Challenge 2- Ralph

I started out with an Aristo caboose and flat car.

After tearing the caboose apart, I shortened it and painted it.

I was going to redeck the flat, but ran short of time.

Jon Radder designed the Cumberland Valley Railroad herald for me.

I used some acrylic I recycled from an uneeded bridge for the roof. Added grab irons. Painted the trim copper, since Rooster had a fondness for it.

Some of you at York Friday may have spotted it in the alcove. The Rooster Line MOW caboose is now at home on the CVRR. Ralph

Nice! I like it!

Me too. Looks great Ralph.

I love it especially the decals. When can we put our orders in for the decals? I think everyone should have a piece of rolling stock with the rooster. Then dedicate a day to the rooster where we all run the rooster cars. LOL

Car looked great @ York… Looks better in natural settings…

I still think it needs Bruce’s “Rooster with a clever in it’s chest” on the wood fencing around the front of the car…

What it really needs is a Rooster bobble head on the roof
Ralph

Very, very nice.
