Large Scale Central

Centre Cupola Caboose

Finally completed another project. Originally caboose was two bobber LGB offset cabeese (Coke and circus type). These were joined, interior and lighting fitted. Car finished in my roadname, “Consolidated & Southern”.

That works.

COOL,good job. I would have added aother window but otherwise it will look good on the end of your trains.

Tim:

I can just hear the outcry now: “You are destroying thousands of dollars in collector value when you chop up LGB cars.” LOL!!

Seriously, great looking model. You are certainly an expert at these LGB conversions!

Now you tell me!

Tim,
Excellent job! That makes a really great looking caboose.

Excellent job of kitbashing. I am also inspired to get to work on the Drover’s caboose that has been in the shop for about 5 years.
“Get outta the way, Martha, I’ve got a railroad to run!”

Nice work!

5 years ago those were available at clearance pretty cheaply…now…fuhgetaboutit. Ain’t no such thing as closeouts on most trains now.
