I actually cut the pipe in wedges and turn it the glue it in place.....repeat til I get the bend......then a little sanding....

All construction is essentially complete for Shay No8. No fancy paint job or lettering, just a workaday locomotive.

Will add a crew eventually and some assorted clutter to the running board and some weathering, plus theres still an electronics install to do, but I’m ready to take this one off the bench…
