Bart, mind if I ask how you bent the dry pipe? I'm learning and I think heat for some of the smaller ones, not sure on the larger diameter stuff. And do you eyeball or use a form?

All construction is essentially complete for Shay No8. No fancy paint job or lettering, just a workaday locomotive.

Will add a crew eventually and some assorted clutter to the running board and some weathering, plus theres still an electronics install to do, but I’m ready to take this one off the bench…
