Almost all reports are in from the 75MPH (full scale) windstorm that hit the area where the CCRy resides.
No track or roadbed damage has been reported.
Closest was a 15 foot, 4" diameter (full-scale) branch that planted itself 3 full-scale inches from the track.
Pete’s Pit Mine sustained severe damage to the North Minehead, being knocked completely off it’s foundations.
The structure remained intact, however, and it being hoisted with the CCRy cranes back into position on it’s foundation.
The maintenance shed/boxcar at Malfunction was blown off it’s blocks, but remained upright.
The new Fuel Tank at Lower Laurel was tipped about 30 degrees, but has been hoisted back and foundations repaired.
Any cargo on loading docks ended up off the docks, but not severely damaged, and has been carted back.
Mound House, due to it’s location, has sustained the moist debris damage, with all track covered in trees and branches.
This has now been cleared by maintenance crews.
Mehus Concentrator is damaged in the supports on the North side, with structural members still blocking the main track under the Concentrator proper.
The design of the building tended to channel the wind through the passage.
Crews are working on restoring main line to full traffic.
There is some debris still to be cleared at High Point and Hughes Logging, but works trains have gotten through, and are working to complete cleanup.
The roof of the water tank at Whiterock was blown off, crews have recovered the remains, re-installed, and made up replacement parts.
Full covering is expected this afternoon, and the tank has at no time lost it’s ability to provide water to trains.
Inspection trains will proceed over all lines, approving for full traffic as inspected sections are approved.
