I finished the Climax today … at least for now. I still need to add a few more details, but it’s far enough along to introduce it to the world. Here it is running on roller stands in the shop. Be advised I had the camera real close to the model, so you may want to turn your sound down a bit. This loco has two 5-Watt speakers – one in the fuel bunker and one in the stack.

Nice job, Bob. Geared engines are my favorite by far. WSRR recently acquired a climax to go with our two shays. Still have a few modifications to complete before it’s ready. I like the two speaker idea. I’ll have to keep that in mind. Thanks for sharing.
