Here is a sneak peek at my latest piece of CC&R motive power, setting on the paint table. It’s a R/C battery conversion with a CVP Products G3 motion decoder in the boiler. A Phoenix P8 and a 3000 mAh battery are in the fuel bunker. The cab is a Banta laser-cut wood kit I’m in the final stages now and plan to have it completed in time to show it at the St. Louis Area Narrow Gauge (SLANG) meet on April 16th. There will be a full photo article posted as soon as the model is finished. Now … before you rivet counters have a chance to bash me … I know the number plate is from the wrong builder. It’s the only #6 I had available in my junk box; maybe I’ll change it out later.
