Are these powered?
Beautiful car barn, lots of storage.
The ventilation fan is a good idea in a warm climate, where is the
make up air for the fan coming in at?
Rick
Sean,
Yes, the actuators are powered. They run on 12 VDC and draw about 10 Amps each when in motion. They are controlled wirelessly with a handheld keyfob like a garage door opener.
Rick,
I installed six 8" x 16" screened vents in the upper section of the rear wall. These act as exhaust vents when the fan is not running since the hot air rises. They act as intake vents when the fan is on. You can see them from the inside in the following photo.

Very professionally built! Great job. The best I’ve ever seen. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
That looks downright spiffy…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Hi Bob, wow… you incorporated everything, I’m so impressed!!
I really like your roof engineering, inclusion of the electric linear actuators, vent fan, utility power… awesome!
