With daylight running out, icy rails, snow and wind picking up the boss decided to suspend operations until the storm is over. Cant afford any injuries or getting stuck in the backcountry. The engine was put away for the evening and the plow left out. With dusk approaching rapidly the guys took shelter, sitting by the warm stoves, sipping a hot cup of coffee, some moon shine and telling stories in the candle lite buildings.
