So do you have to pre drill each spike?

Nope, they push directly into the PVC without splitting and seem to hold nice and tight.

Dug through the junk box at work and brought home the makings of a poor-man’s gauge tools (small threaded rod and lots of nuts). Now, if I can just find that container of spikes I bought 10 years ago :smiley:
