What about C++?
Heh…but I remember programming in machine code…so…well, basically so what?
I think young Pratt is so excited about the renewal of the "C"rest Revolution, that he just up and got cornfued at the letter C, when he started the subject line. I do hope his excitement didn’t make him wet his nickers, or soil the kitty litter…!!!
I suggest that he join the bunch in the CHAT ROOM, for some expert advice on such reactions. There is hope. Several of the chatters have seen relief while chatting in the Chatroom, and continue to “Improve” !!!
F, F, F, for pities sake.

I still have my Z80, assembly language programming manual.
I never learned C++, but I did learn Pascal and I was signed up for a FORTRAN class. The class never happened because not enough people signed up for it, but I had read some of the into material for the class.
Vanilla C for real-time. Nothing else as far as I am concerned. Robotics company down the road codes in ‘real time java’. Not sure what to think about that. Wonder what Dolores Abernathy is coded in?
Well, that was special, wasn’t it?

Greg; If you “See the direction it is going”, as you say; please, please let us know that it is in a “Good direction” that will PROMOTE Large Scale Model Railroading, and welcome more people towards the hobby, for fun, education and knowledge.
If it is not going in that direction…let’s all get together and correct the deviation from the BAD direction to a better one…together with a common voice…
