I have seen from 2 different sources on Facebook referencing e mails from USA Trains that they will be doing a limited run of their SD 70MAC in the UP Bush 4141 paint scheme. No date yet for production or pricing.
After Bush’s funeral on facebook several mentioned interest in getting one so a sort of email campaign was started and it seems to have got to USA Trains. Or the fact that USA Trains got the ball rolling about the time we started emailing them, whichever side you prefer to stand on. I am looking at it from the sunny side, that we got their attention and even though it is not the right loco to match the real one , just as the Heritage units do not match, its close enough that we are not going to get into a fit over it, ( I am sure someone will , but I will not). And it is a warm and fuzzy feeling that USA Trains is listening to us and will do custom runs if people ask for them.
