Ah just what it needs, more combustibles.
Lou, I hear you!
I don’t have much of a life, but the speed shown here makes me wonder if ‘they’ have any!

Pretty cool. It’s amazing we can get excited about generating trash.
I love all the detail parts. Very nice. Trash as art!

Finished painting all of the people. Next is the other two cars and the rest of the little details. The astute observer will notice that I am stalling on making the fireworks…
Well, I figured that it was just too difficult to find small hollow tubes, not to mention getting the gunpowder in the tubes… I suspect the scale fuses could be a REAL problem.
Well, you know what they say…ATF sounds like it should be a convenience store…
Nice job
Do they work?..ain’t no fair if they don’t work…
Think well find out soon with boss crumb, smoking on that stogy.
That is certainly very intricate and demanding work Boomer. You are going great guns. I guess you are feeling better now? Hope so.
Very nicely done…can’t wait for the mini fireworks show.
Doc Tom

I was lucky. For many years in the USAF I worked with a pair of investigators for the NM State Police. Both had their Fed license as amateur pyrotechnic (fireworks) makers. I learned everything from them and would have gone into that hobby after retirement if G scale had not come along. I still find it fascinating and of course I loved fireworks as a kid.

Makes the model a very special remembrance to a couple of hard working policemen. Good job.
Doc Tom
I imagine your work shop area is now a “No Smoking Area”?..
Where are the miniature punks, cigarette lighters and matches to light those babies ???
Doc Tom
