Be sure to include someone illicitly smoking behind the stand
This looks like a LOT of fun, Boomer. (Great nickname for a fireworks fan!) I’m looking forward to watching your progress! Good luck!
No… I’m not standing behind the building
Nice you work fast. I still have to cut the tree down to make my napkin to draw on.
Fun project! As you say, the real work will be in the details.
I’ve seen models of firework factories (often blown up, burned down, or some other gag) but I don’t recall ever seeing a fireworks stand on a model railroad before.
Nice work Boomer
LOOKIN’ GOOD!
Very nicely done and quickly too.

Don’t set fire to that napkin near the fireworks!
My eyesight won’t let me read the car kit’s manufacturer. Who made it? They might sell just what I need!
Doug, those car kits were originally made by Hubley, and later sold under the Gabriel name. You can still find them sometimes on ebay.
Thanks. I’ll have to keep watch. I’m looking for a flatbed truck from about 1920 to bash into a prospector’s rig.
Wow, that was fast, looks great
There is a fire engine as well. Boomer, what scale was the Packard? I struck paydirt at a flea market and got 4 of these sets for $10 total. I also have a partial kit that is gonna be used for a service station model.
Boomer I like the stand. It looks great and reminds me of the freeway stands I saw around here as a kid.
Terry
Reminds me of some of the Amish produce stands…
That works too, cept the old guy has a beard…
Looking good Boomer get well soon.
Not to bad, to be leading the parade on progress. Now aren’t you glad I cajoled you into joining in our RR games.
Last year the guy (John L.) we talked into it, won the whole shooting match.
You’r doing the Land Of Enchantment proud.
Wow Boomer your build is really coming along. Your design reminds me of a snack shack so maybe after the 4th they can sell hotdogs out of there.
A very nice build. Neat interior is on they way…very good.
