For decades I could remember watching the SP engines in their silver and grey running the lines. Than santa fe moved in for a while and they were mixed. Leased units aside, I believe there aren’t too many unpainted sp’s here in socal anymore. Been seeing lots of the UP’s coming through which means they have been busy either selling off the old sp units or repaints.
Spotted several Dash UP’s the other day and wondered who’s next in the merger game. Well thank gawd for the Large Scale modelers for giving me sp again.
