Bumble Bee Annie wanted

I’m looking for a D&RGW Bumble Bee Annie.

There’s been a few questions by members. This is an Annie drive gear. Everything is metal, including the rods.

OK, John what do you want? With RCS and sound or with out? And how much are you willing to spend. Paul

Paul,
Without sound or RC, but it can be gutted of all the Bachmann guts, as long as the motor is working good.

John, it has a BBT chassis. Paul

Sorry about that Bob, I changed my email and you where there! I did not change out before the above. John, that was me. Paul

PS, do you want a Bachmann motor? Got a couple of those somewhere around the shop.

There goes the price!

Bob Paul,
We can take it to PM, but right now Comcast has e-mail problems.

OK, use either email address. Check my profile. Paul

Sorry, John but it is NOT an Annie version! Paul

Dear All,

I think that the “Annie” label designates a higher level of body detail, and metal side rods and valve gear.

I think there are only a few Annies that have had Walschaerts metal valve gear, most were Stephenson.

Here’s one entry from Loco Bill Canelos’ Christmas theme list:

90047 NP&S Set 2004 ^ Set Wonderland Flyer w/ 10th Anniversary 4-6-0 P X Sam’s Club Set $139.95 1st set with Annie Loco, has Walsherts Valve Gear

Separate sale Annies?

I’m not totally sure which “item #s/road names/years” were which valve type. I’ll ask Bill on the B’mann board.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik

Edit: spelling

Dear All,

Here is a list of the Annies up to 2007 from Loco Bill and his wife.

Turns out there were more Walschaerts choices than I thought.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,
