Building an Engine Barn

and it is coming along nicely…got the plans out of the february GR (2001)…3/4 finished…cedar doll house shingles (700) on the roof (3’2")…i modified the building to make it more personalized…even have real (???) brick coupulas…3 bays, 3 feet long, 2 feet wide, interior lighting…SHOULD be large enough to fit the largest steam/diesel engines in their entirty, maybe even with the tenders as well on the steam loco (if i ever get one)…should be finished in the next couple weeks (waiting fot temps to warm up to waterproof and paint this LARGE structure (13" tall in the center)…pictures none existent at this time…for anyone who saw my trestle, this engine barn fits the grandness of that…over engineered and built, it should last several, several years in the elements (depending on how the cedar shingles hold out)… just letting you all know i am alive and kicking…hope all has been great for everyone…
bart, you and the others here still amaze me…kick-ass looking loco you built there dude…
