Large Scale Central

Building a Beyer Garrett

Here is a quick video I made today of the Garratt after making several improvements.

Nice work Todd. Those cars go well with the loco (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Nice work, but IT’S TOO QUIET!!! (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

I agree Joe. Someday but it will need 2 sound units or maybe I can get away with using 2 speakers?

Thanks guys.

I would think two speakers otherwise sound timing might be wonky. But I love this machine. So cool an different. Looks like the trucks track way better. And the lower profile is much nicer. Glad you got it working.

And with the passenger cars and all the matching paint it is beautiful.

Thanks Devon. When I built those passenger cars they were supposed to go behind my diesel GP38 like on the Cape Cod Central RR. I put them behind the Garratt on a whim and you are right, they do look good together.

Next up is to get some lettering for these things.
