Dear Doug,

The 2010 national Garden Railroad convention is only 6 weeks away. We have worked very hard with this years committee to improve the contest section of the show.
We now have over $2500.00 in prizes(closer to 3,000.00). We really want to see your stuff.
Categories include

We all see the deficiencies in our models but that is not the point . It is sharing your efforts with others, and we have allot of cash and prizes to award to you. AND ITS FREE to enter

Show Clinics
We will be doing several make it take its for the convention. All are pretty easy and fun.
The first is: Build a 4 wheel crane car kit for your short line; beginners to advanced. We will build the crane car in class but participants will need to build the follower car at home. Lots of fun in a 2 hour class. Price is $59.95, regularly $119.00
2nd Class Build a western building in 2 hours. Great for beginners to advanced. All-weather construction. Price is $49.00, regularly $89.00.
3rd clinic Pitfalls of Outdoor Building Construction and How to Avoid Them
Learn the “how to’s” of outdoor buildings. We discuss concrete and how to make it last, along with Styrofoam, wood, plastics and metal.
