Build log for new Class A Climax

Picked up one of the Ozark Miniatures Class A Climax kits a couple months back. It was a slow process, a number of parts were missing as well as instructions missing sections or had contradicting measurements but it is finished now and looking good.

Link to all build pictures, http://timothydehan.com/redmondcreekrr/ClassAClimax2.htm and a link here to a video of both my Class A’s, http://timothydehan.com/redmondcreekrr/class_a_climax2.htm Enjoy!

That does look good. Nice Job!!

Very nice work. It looks like it runs nicely as well. I wish there were more kits out there.

TimmyD, nice looking engine…

Nicely done. My kind of loco.

Very nice. I love it. Im thinking about building something like it this winter. I plan on using the Bachmann trucks and parts from my big hauler. I cant wait to start it, it will be my first attempt at building an engine.

Cool!
Is the roof wood as it appears to be looking at the underside?
is the boiler copper?

The roof is wood and the boiler is PVC on the Ozark Miniatures kit. Both the roof and boiler are wood on the NE Model Products kit.
