Rather then trying to post to every thread I want to say everyone is doing a great job. Going to be tough picking the winner Lots of talent. I have been slacking on my build. Skiing, other train projects, shoveling snow and running trains got in the way.
But you have lots of timey yet Shawn!

But you have lots of timey yet Shawn!Haha I wish Doug. My new work schedule (12 hour days) makes it hard. When I was on late shifts I had a few hours before work to tinker now that Im on days I lost that time. Once this snow is gone then Ill get back into building
Oh the Shame!
A self proclaimed Napkin Builder is becoming a Hankie Wringer!
Oh the tears!
But Shawn your snow doesn’t go away until May!
Please keep comments out of this thread it is supposed to be a place where we can all post a photo of our project to show where we are and how much we still need to get done in the final week.
Thanks.
I have the roof nearly done and hope to get most of the boards on the batten siding. Then roof metal, paint and details. And our wind is supposed to ease so I can paint outside.
The Door, dang where did I put it…
Found it and painted it…
Down to adding details…
Getting the roofing right is my next brain tease, smaller twigs and grasses mebbe.
All I know for sure is that I better be more than half-way finished or I’ll never make the deadline! I have a lot of finish work to do still, I have to put the window glass in everything, I need some lights somewhere, you can see I cut the supporting post on the porch about a 1/4 inch too short, and I have to put newel posts on the stairs and completely redo the railings because I screwed up and they are at 24 scale inches, which would be just enough for one of the yard workers to trip over if he’s been working late and had a little too much to drink (pop of course). And, of course, I don’t even have the DOOR in yet! All in all, it’ll be a miracle if I can get the time to get this finished in time. Makes me wish I could retire, except in my line of work that I don’t really have anything to retire from.
I wish I had more time so I could respond to everyone’s kind remarks and I really, REALLY wish I had the time to comment on each individual build that is going on, because, seriously, there are some fantastic projects happening, even though it’s tough to keep track of all of them, and the variety of personalities and imagination is amazing.
I like your project. Just remember Rule #1. This year might be the year I actually get mine done! Last year I missed by about three weeks!
Got totally diverted this weekend so no new progress.
Having fun watching all the builds. Great stuff. Doesnt look like Ill make it past my napkin plans. Got too busy playing in the snow.
We are in the thick of it here in Tennessee.
Whoooops…this is more appropriate:
The Fish Camp store is getting a roof as we speak.

Foundation, Weathering, Signage and the Loading Ramp…
THE HOME STRETCH IS APON US and from what I have seen I don’t envy the judges having to make decisions this year, the builds are all winners.
Looking good guys.
Roofing done, looking to refine the side loading door into a drop ramp onto a truck …
