Large Scale Central

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Remember the cold front I mentioned in the “What do people think and believe?” thread? Wellllllll you all know the “It will be a frosty day in July expression”, eh? Woke up to clear sky and 41ºF this morning!

Not quite frost, but not far from it. Hmmmmmm … should I start making a list of items mentioned with “frosty day in July”??

Better call Al Gore :o

It was in the low 40’s here in beautiful downtown Deer Park this morning at about 0430.

That wind you sent down yesterday really fanned a fire just south of Spokane. Had everybody all atwitter.

My weather underground weather gadget has said 64 all day, but I think it’s in the 80s.

Kelvin?

HJ,
The wind you sent down along with someone playing with fire burned 12 homes yesterday in the Spokane Valley. We put up a friend’s 2 horses that had to be evacuated. Our friend’s house survived.

JB,

Sorry to hear that. That wind came all the way from Alaska and was in a one big hurry to get to the Lower 48.

Wind velocity peaked at 106kmh (65mph) in our corner with the usual “benefits” of downed trees, power lines and resulting fires. Luckily no damage in our neighbourhood.

It knocked over my wife’s corn! How’m I gonna get ma squeezins, now?

We heard about that Spokane fire here on the local news. Glad to hear everyone is OK. Sorry about your corn Steve, but ya can always buy Squeeze down where the winos hang out. Might not be made from corn though :o
