Nothing particularly special about this former N.Y.N.H.&.H. bridge across the Still River in Danbury, CT. What’s interesting is that this photo was merged by Cannon’s Photo Stitch software from 4 separate images. It did the merge fully automatically and even when the seams were highlighted I had to super-enlarge the photo to notice the edits. Sure beats doing it in Photoshop.

It did screw up a little bit at one seam. The bridge abutment ion the right hand side isn’t stepped like it appears in the stitched photo. I need to go back and look at the software to see if I can do manual overrides to fix glitches like that.

Jon, I think you’ll find most software that does this will let you mess with the joins to your heart’s content.

One of the guys at work spliced a series of photos showing himself, his wife and two of his daughters on a rocky beach in the north of Western Australia. We ran it off on the 44" plotter for him. He reckons his house has a wall big enough to fit it!
