Anybody have an idea for a locations of brass suppliers? Do not like working with the styrene it keeps warping.

No,

I do not have lots of money but I am tired of making the same thing more than once! Need profiles not sheets. I am using the brass to make a chassis for an engine I am trying to build but the styrene keeps stopping me. I stopped and started making the Climax from GR but still want to build the other.

OK in that case http://www.specialshapes.com/default.asp they have “just about” everything!

Depending on what you want, Trinity Metals on ebay always seems to have various sizes of brass tube, at good prices. I’ve bought a bunch from them over the last several years.

Thanks for advice. I will probably end going with Trinity they have the sizes I need but the other one is closer but does have the sizes I need. Thanks again.

I am going to start the boxcar after June 4th that is when “School’s out for the summer” to quote Alice Cooper.
