I remember that project when it started over on GscaleMad. It is from a very nice GRS kit (I tried to link to the kit’s webpage but that site is screwy and would not give me a direct link!). The builder had added a bucket load of additional rivets to the body of the kit.

That’s the very one - well it’s now almost finished, and it looks truly superb. Doug has done a first-class job on it. I’m trying to get him to post it to Marc Horowitz for an article in GR.

Nice looking kits. That one is $110 with no motor block. They are designed for USAT motor blocks.
