Well since Dave Taylor is teasing with the approaching Build Challenge I thought I would announce the prize figures for this year.
As always there will be three figures awarded in three categories. The winner in each category is determined by drawing names from a bowl by Mrs Boomer or by Topaz. Either way it will be impartial and random as Mrs Boomer could care less and Topaz cannot read. You don’t have to be the best or get votes just participate as described below according to Dave’s rules.
Here is the 2018 list:
“Mik, just Mik” - a 1/24th figure awarded from those who participate in the build.
Devon Sinsley - a 1/24th figure awarded from those that are entering the challenge for the first time.
Rooster - a 1/24th figure awarded from those that vote according to Dave’s rules. If you win this figure you have to take it, no excuses.
And now here are the victims inspiring this years figures:
Allan “Mik” Bupp - creator and name sake of the Build Challenge.
Devon Sinsley- Butt modeler (meaning he sits on it…he does not model butts…at least I don’t think he does) Theologian and spigot head.
David Russell “Rooster”- Amtrak modeler par excellence, mechaniac and chat wise man.
Since I have covered many times the making of figures I will only be posting updates and a few comments of interest.
No modelers were harmed in the making of this post…but the day aint over yet!
